It’s been a whirlwind of a week! Kai’s visa came through last Tuesday (a day after we were supposed to fly to Budapest). Air tickets and accommodation had to be rebooked; passports collected in Pretoria; a quick pack; and we were off on Friday. We arrived in Pécs after multiple flights and an 3 hour train ride on Saturday. If I told you that Kai has not stopped smiling, that would be an understatement! We have spent the last few days walking to his dormitory and sorting out university admin at the various departments scattered around this beautiful city. Blessed to have this time to settle him. He moves into the dorm on 2 Sept and orientation has been rescheduled to 8 Sept (lectures start on 12 Sept). Thank you for the role that you have played in making my son’s dream come true! Now the rest is up to him. 🙏🏽💐
